Your life’s about to change.
If you don’t know who is Simon Sinek, my humble advice is to drop everything you’re doing and get ready to sit tight at your PC.
The video I’ll be sharing with you below is one of the most viewed from TED Talks and has changed my life’s perspective in multiple ways, as I do trust it will also change yours, namely if you are leading a team or training to become a true leader.
In this in-depth talk, ethnographer and leadership expert Simon Sinek reveals the hidden dynamics that inspire leadership and trust.
In biological terms, leaders get the first pick of food and the others are satisfied with the spoils…
But at a cost. It isn’t for free.
You see, when in danger, the group expects the leader to mitigate all the threats, even at the expense of his personal well-being.
Understanding this deep-seated expectation is the key difference between someone who is just a “positional supervisor” versus a true “leader.”
If you are like me, my guess is:
Your jaw will drop when Simon details why we are biologically offended by finance people or politicians who seem to work their way up by exploiting who trusted them.
I believe Simon will help you underlining your convictions about how the society works and why real leaders are so rare.
To create your dream company, you must become an outstanding leader or must follow one, and this is why it is crucial to study materials that help you growing as a person.
Because, you know, a company will only grow up to the “height” of its leaders.
